The sun sets beneath the trees like flames in the sky.
No cool breeze tonight, but yet, she can't help but feel a chill rushing through her body, leaving behind goosebumps.
The still leaves hang lightly from each dark tree branch.
She is always only allowed so much.
Not enough to complete her or the feeling that she so much desires.
This neighborhood seems dead, with the darkness of the night.
The only sound comes from the cars rushing by in the distance, leaving faded lights.
You can never get what you truely desire.
"Life isn't fair," like her mother and entire family had told her.
Left behind, she feels lost and alone.
Right now, is when she needs to move on, be something.
The sun fades into the trees, leaving the once illuminated sky black.
There is no use wasting her time anymore, no satisfaction will ever come from this cruel life she lives.
Her mind wonders back to that day.
Her mother returning home from a long day of work.
Nothing is ever enough.
Another argument, just like the last, a preview of the next.
Its always the same fight.
The same reason.
She finishes her homework, while her mom continues to scream, making sure to get in everything.
Blocking out her mother, she figures out the calculation to the last math problem.
26 days and shes out.
18.
Anything to get away from this.
Away from this life.
This town.
Escape her normal reality.
In search for something better.
Things will work.
Things will finally be better.
A better life.
Finally to be happy.
But the one problem.
Leaving him.
Her only dream and wish since forever.
Her mother exits her room.
Leaving her behind to weep in the dark.
Pretend to be sleeping.
Nothing measures up.
Not enough to keep her mother happy.
But what about her.
Her mind flashes back to life.
Back to reality.
Back to reality.
She sits on the curb, finishes her cigarette.
Taking one last, long drag.
She looks into the distance.
The once colorful sky, only holds few stars now.
The once colorful sky, only holds few stars now.
Right now, she needs to do something for herself.
Forget the past and make a future.
Nothing matters anymore.
Just this, now, and whats to come.
She has finally realized he doesn't love her.
~~~~~~~
Okay, so I'm going to try and start writing a story.
This was totally just whatever and random.
So we'll see.
But I don't really know. I wanted to write.
